New Alliance Plotting To Take Bezzer Down?

The Reveille Times has received exclusive evidence of a plotting planned to take place amongst New Alliance and Redmont Beach Party, against Bezzergeezer, a candidate for the upcoming presidential elections.

The player who gave us this information shall remain anonymous. As for the one that leaked the plot, our informant insisted that they stayed anonymous. We will call them “planner”.

Apparently, in a New Alliance chat, they were having a discussion about supporting the Bezzer presidential campaign. Our informant told us that they received a direct message from a New Alliance council member in an attempt to convince them to support the Bezzer campaign.

Additionally, the planner that messaged our informant, said that they weren’t confident that Bezzer’s campaign would win, and they were only interested in New Alliance gaining more publicity and recognition for future runs. Furthermore, they made the statement that Bezzer isn’t actually a good leader, and in the scenario he loses the election, he would be the one to be blamed so that RBP is pressured to remove him from leadership.

Of course, I had to ask Sofia herself for a comment on this situation. She had quite a few things to say.

CastoloGR: Hello Sofia. The Reveille Times has received a tip that at least one NA council member was planning on endorsing Bezzer for the presidential election, but expected him to lose, and was planning on blaming him for the loss in order to elevate NA. Any comments on that?

“I would like to clarify a few things.

1. It feels odd that TRVT seems to prioritise painting NA in a bad light, this is the second request for comment in just as many weeks, which (based off the RFC) frames us as an evil party of backstabbing schemers, which is entirely false. I would also like to note that RFC was also based on a singular council member doing something.

2. So let me say this clearly, if we endorse a hypothetical Bezzer ticket, and he then loses, that would be the (excluding times he couldn’t run due to term limits) 4th time in a row he had run for either President or VP, endorsing him again would just seem like a set conclusion. This isn’t some evil scheme to make him lose, it’s more just a basic understanding of politics.

3. One council member is essentially like saying there is a person on the WPR central committee who wants to kill Juniper, we have 4 (5 before pigeon got banned) council members, so I don’t really get your point regarding that.

4. The „expect him to lose“ part is largely based on the expected opposition (Pepe/Eenza) being more popular than Bezzer himself, when I have talked to him and others, we largely agreed that if he decides to run, it would likely be a springboard for the February candidate supported by RBP/The DC right.

Also I would like to note that when the stuff the one council member was saying was told to me, I very much tried clearing up the confusion with the general message of 2. It was pretty much an internal miscommunication between members.”

Sofia went against the whole idea and concept of a plotting by NA to make Bezzer fall from RBP. She claims that this story is a miscommunication between New Alliance members.

Our informant suggested the idea of Sofia endorsing the WPR, and have NA work with them, instead of RBP. But, the planner is against supporting the WPR. He claimed that Sofia, a Vice President candidate, picked by Bezzergeezer, worked hard for her spot, and endorsing the opposition would make him have second thoughts, as the leader of the NA would be supporting a party the RBP dislikes. The planner said “I hate WPR to my guts, but to make our policies happen, we need to play good politics, and it is not a sentimental game”, but also mentioned that other members of NA, such as RealImza, are against supporting the WPR.

As things are at the moment, it seems that the New Alliance continues to support Bezzer and his campaign, and Sofia remains the Vice President candidate.
