Following the news that Secretary xEndeavour was acquitted of the charges relating to his impeachment proceedings by the Senate, one is left to wonder how the opposition will deal with its recent failures.
Despite securing 2 representatives and a senator just a few days ago at the last election, the RBP has folded in a similar fashion to the WPR, having lost that very senator as well as all their representatives. Now, having failed to rub in the largest scandal of the Administration, which has proved to not be much of a scandal afterall considering the acquittal, one is left to wonder where the opposition went wrong.
Perhaps the heavy-handed hearings and polarising electoral tactics were a mistake after all. There is a new Congress and the Administration is finally done with one of the most nothing-burger scandals ever. Let us hope these events will let us proceed into a Redmont with less polarisation. Though with MZ organizing itself into a conglomerate of companies, a news agency and a political party, one is left to wonder whether calmer politics is even possible.
