The last few days have been rocky for the Kaiserin_ Administration. The introduction of the Fairness Fee by the Department of Construction and Transport created enough controversy to feed the news feed for days. It was created without the approval of the President and the subsequent uproar from town leaderships and Congress culminated in a congressional hearing, which seemed to be less than civilized from both sides involved. Despite the Secretary rescinding the policy, the House of Representatives has impeached xEndeveour 8-0-1. The trial will commence in the Senate.
I have time and time again on here in my opinion pieces critisized the former senator and now secretary, Mr. xEndeavour for his policy and specifically for the style in which he usually endeveors to pursue it.
As often history shows, people do tend to be the cause of their own undoing and through his new Fairness Fee, the Secretary of Transport has proved my point once again. He introduced a new policy, without consulting the Cabinet, without consulting the elected President, who made him secretary to begin with.
This is precisely why we did not elect xEndeavour president. While End is often well-meaning, the style in which he conducts politics is inevitably unstatesmanlike.
However, this entire situation was not helped by the campaign the Congress has led. This crusade against the fee, which led to this very impeachment commencing. The behavior of all involved, the Congresspeople and the Secretary, is childish and hurtful to this very republic.
At least the President shines as the bright light through in this situation, attempting to solve the situation before it gets out of hand. However, Congress appears to not be looking for a solution, instead a cheap win against the Administration. The current Congress is a comedy play.
