After a closely fought election campaign, Rorryyy__ (WPR) has taken the mayoral seat in Oakridge by defeating zLost (GER) by 4 votes. The result stood at 29-25, an impressive feat as Rorryyy__ is the first WPR mayor to be elected in Oakridge’s history and flipping the seat from GER domination.
The closely contested election was marked by controversy. During the campaign, the “Naez mafia” independently ran advertisements promising financial rewards for votes in favor of zLost, who denied any involvement in the scheme. The incident prompted a Department of Justice investigation. Despite the controversy, Rorryyy__ secured victory and will serve alongside JunoAndrist, who has been elected as Vice-Mayor.
