Mafia Group Offers RMT$10K to Each Voter Who Backs zLost in Oakridge

The Oakridge mayoral election faces scrutiny after advertisements surfaced offering RMT$10K payments in exchange for votes for candidate zLost. The Department of Justice has confirmed an investigation is underway into the campaign activities linked to the self-described 'Naez mafia.' Secretary of Justice Juniperfig states prosecutors are reviewing the matter for potential criminal charges. Candidate zLost has denied direct involvement in the payment scheme. This developing story includes exclusive screenshots and statements from key officials.

The Mayoral Election in Oakridge turned the other direction with the entry of the Naez mafia into the mix in favor of a GER mayoral candidate zLost.

Earlier today, citizens have noticed several advertisements calling for them to vote for zLost in the Mayoral Election. While there appears to not be a direct link to the Galactic Empire of Redmont, members of the so-called “Naez mafia” are running ads promising financial rewards in exchange for zLost votes.

We asked the Secretary of the Department of Justice Juniperfig (WPR) for comment. Juniperfig answered with the following

“I’ve already sent this off to my prosecutors, and we’re definitely interested in pursuing this. If we believe we can prove a crime has occured beyond a reasonable doubt, we’ll absolutely pursue it.”

— Juniperfig

We also reached out to candidate zLost (GER). They denied any direct involvement:

“Naez told me that his mafia is endorsing me, i didn’t know he meant it like this. Yeah i dont support it at all.”

— zLost

It appears the person paid to run the campaign is IamJeb, while admitting they are indeed paid by Naez to campaign for zLost.

We will report on the situation as it develops.
