The conduct of Senator Vernicia and AlexanderLove as well as the Justices of the Supreme Court is something all citizens of the Commonwealth should be ashamed of. The utter confusion and mockery of the process with the Chief Justice seemingly ignoring legal arguments in a case as vital as this for the democracy that has defined our realm since the beginning is an insult to the citizenry.

So let’s sum up what has happened since the election of 1950 as president. Vernicia, Senator and presidential candidate, who achieved a laughable result in the election filed, via Dragon Law, a lawsuit to re-run the election because apparently the electoral process was not legitimately approved by the owners. The Chief Justice, in an emergency injunction, proceeded to rule that there should be a run-off between the runner-up, End, and the victor, President-Elect 1950. So “task failed successfully” for the plaintiff in this regard. Vernicia´s VP candidate Bezzergeezer then said that several previous elections were illegitimate. Interesting that now, having failed in the election, he is bringing this up. The Attorney General proceeds to showcase that there is no standing for the plaintiff’s claim. The Chief Justice, in a confusing move, stands by the run-off despite the letter of the law seemingly spelling out—at least according to the Attorney General—that there is no basis for it and that the election itself was legitimate.

Is the Supreme Court not paying attention to the arguments? Is the legal system being mocked by some of the longest-serving politicians like Vernicia and her team? If the Justices can go around ordering re-runs of elections without legal argumentation in such a confusing manner, then we are facing a severe case of democratic backsliding, not a case of illegitimate election.
