Tonight, at 11:06 PM EST on Saturday, January 18, President of the Senate xEndeavour announced the incapacitation and removal of President UnityMaster, passing the office onto our new President lcn.

xEndeavour announced that the Senate had voted with 3 ayes, 2 abstentions, and 1 nay. When some players questioned how this was a supermajority, the Senate President cited Term 14b of Section 12 of the Legislative Standards Act, reading “The quorum when voting shall be dynamic. Where a member abstains from voting, the majority will be decided based on those who have not abstained.”

This also comes in the wake of a lawsuit against the new President on behalf of the now-deposed UnityMaster, arguing that “[t]here is currently no Vice President as the former Vice President is currently the President on an acting basis.
