New Party Registered Just In Time For House Elections

The newly-registered Redmont People’s Party (RPP) has been registered with the Department of State this past Thursday, making it the newest party in Redmont and a possible new contender in the House elections.

With a quick, same-day approval from the DOS and two RPP candidates already registered for the House elections, this party appears to be ready to shake up Redmont politics.

The RPP’s founder, Vernicia, is confident but not arrogant. “Well, we’re just teaching new players [about] politics,” she stated in an exclusive interview with The Reveille Times. “Don’t think someone like Bezzer or End would have patience for that.”

The RPP is an eclectic party, combining traditionally progressive policies like workers’ rights, UBI, and public housing with more conservative policies like laissez-faire economics, traditionalism, and militarism. Nevertheless, the RPP’s politics stand in stark contrast to that of its opponent parties, including the PCR, RRP, and GER.

With their two House candidates, Chaos_Canadian and Boukolos, the RPP has an uphill battle to get into the House, and will be facing off with a juggernaut PCR, with its ten candidates, as well as GER’s five candidates, RRP’s three candidates, and eight independent candidates, as of writing.

The Reveille Times will be reporting regularly on the House elections.
